Watchmaker

Watchmaker is the latest from the fantastic and well trained hands of EnvyMachinery. This one, as the greatest shout-out I have ever received, was inspired by a story I wrote called Insanity Spreads - Here.

This piece really shows EnvyMachinery’s amazing ability to capture exactly what is in the head of a writer. I have never commissioned him for anything and been disappointed. Everything including the dropped clock, the half transformed hand, and the blood spot on the sleeve, is expertly translated without any interaction from me beyond the story. I didn’t even know what he was pulling from the story until he showed it to me, and it is breath-taking.

The audience’s eyes being pulled into the hand and clock with his razor-sharp use of added detail in the foreground and well placed shadows, shows a level of craftsmanship fitting of the subject matter of a watchmaker. You would be hard pressed to find someone more befitting of your time and money. If you haven’t looked into his work, I strongly recommend it, all of it is fantastic.
